After almost 3 years of local, national and global events that have rocked our tribe to its core and shattered all illusions, a growing movement of Jewish artists responds with pride, hope and deft lucidity. Leaning on the unequivocal strength of 4000 years of civilised history, text and tradition, this new body of work charts the very particular Melbourne Jewish creative experience since October 7th 2023.

Enter the spiral of Jewish time as the past is once again the present; now appears an unrecognisable transplant; and the future is being written in real time. Where do we go from here?
